So, Valentine's day was the best I've had in a long time. It didn't start as smoothly as either of us had planned. First off, I wasn't expecting him for a while, so I wasn't dressed and hadn't done my hair or anything and he came in while I was half dressed and still towelling my hair! I meeped and threw the towel over my head in an attempt to hide as I complained "I wasn't expecting you yet! I'm still not ready!". He laughed at me and said he loved me either way. We played and snuggled and chatted a bit, exchanged gifts, and then he went home for a bit. When he came back was probably the worst bit of the evening - I vomited during dinner (hurrah - I freaking hate this) and he'd eaten too much (because he'd missed lunch), so I was too icky in the tummy and he was too full for any kind of mischief, lol. Disappointing after the playtime we had this afternoon when he first dropped by with the flowers (he went home for dinner and a shower between then and when we went out again, because he'd been working all day and had come straight to my place*). Ah well, there's always another night *giggles* like tomorrow :x

It was great, in that he brought me a red rose, and a bouquet of white oriental lilies, and liked what I gave him (although he was cheeky and pretended not to know any of the artists on the mix cd I'd made him). We went for a drive to the beach and walked along the jetty in the moonlight. We lingered on the jetty leaning into each other and staring into the clear and still water. It was warm, warm enough for a light top and short skirt and there was just the faintest movement in the air to keep you cool but not cold. We traded compliments, such as he is "lucky" to have me, because I care, and want to help when he has a problem, I listen, and I love him. It was sweet. There were so many couples out with the same idea ... so then we went onto the beach itself (there were still couples, just fewer of them) and waded in the water a bit, and then went back to the car and drove home again because we were both so tired in the end.

He's coming over again tomorrow night to use my computer to fill out an online job application, and suggested that there would be opportunity for playtime then. I can't wait! But for now? I'm content and sleepy, and off to bed to dream about how playtime might pan out, hee hee.

I hope that everyone's Valentine's has been or will be just as delightful as I found mine to be, despite the not-so-smooth start :)

*He'd been expecting to finish work at 12.30pm, having started at 7.30am delivering flowers for the florist his sister works for. He'd planned to surprise me and take me to lunch or something, but it didn't pan out as they asked him to stay until 5pm because they were quite desperate for delivery staff. He agreed because the pay was worth it, but he did say he'd wanted to take me to lunch even as he'd said yes.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I sent him a message in the morning saying "be my Valentine, today?" and when he saw me in the evening he said "Snuggle says yes! If you will be mine." SQUEE!

Lol, we went to Brighton actually, but it would have been interesting to see what was going down at Glenelg.

Thank you! I did. Thanks :)
