Ugh ... I've semi-sorted my schedule for tomorrow. Busy, busy. I'll go in the morning with my mother and Gianluca to the Central Markets and Chinatown to see the lion dancing, and then Gianluca will look to buy some sports shoes, and my mother will drop me off at the dance store in the city to check out some new shoes and dance wear. I also need to organise a second skirt for myself. Then I actually have to go to a dance class, before rushing home to shower, change, and go to the Valentine's day party. Darius is being not particularly helpful about the possibility of a lift home the next day because he hasn't even thought about what he's going to do, himself. Gah. Anyway, at this rate, I might as well take my own car, sigh.
Two, no, three (one not mentioned to the school at large, but solely to the more advanced dancers), performance opportunities coming up - Unley fair in March, and El Rocio festival in April, no details on the third one yet. I put my name down for all three, and Andre came along and egged the remaining dancers (himself, Oscar, and the two teachers, lol) still hanging around after the class had ended into giving me shit for forgetting completely and utterly to drop my hand at the end of the tangos in last year's performance like we were supposed to. I was so totally convinced, until I saw the video, that I actually had dropped it down that when he commented on it after the dance I gave him a funny look and said "I didn't!" but it turns out I did - which is still a valid flamenco pose, just not the one that was choreographed, lol. Then he wrote next to my name for the Unley fair performance, "lead dancer (arms essential)", lol! Ah well, if people were to take there cues from me, then I wouldn't look so bad if I screw up, hee hee.
Mmm, better go to bed now, if I want to be bright and chirpy for the party tomorrow night (still no ideas on what I'm going to wear but ... eh. I'll figure it out.
PS, The O says hello to y'all, since he started out lying on my lap, and has since progressed to sitting upright and staring at the screen as I typed this. I guess he thinks he can read, and I guess the claws in my thigh, lol, are a suggestion that now is the time for bed. Night all!
