Well, so far, I have already accidentally forgotten that today is St Valentine's day (after I successfully managed to remember to send Darius a text message saying "Be my Valentine, today?"). My plans for today, other than trying t remember that it's Valentine's day, and getting ready to see Darius tonight, include a haircut, calling several places for information or appointments, chopping and cooking a whole box of tomatoes, and avoiding any possibly potential bushfires (fingers crossed there are none).
So, before I forget again (and believe me, I nearly did) ... Happy St Valentine's day to you all. I can't wait to see Darius, and give him my gifts and cards, and snuggles and kisses, lol.
So, now I'm ripping a couple of songs off a burnt "flamenco mix" cd to email to
yayheaven (intrumentals with a strong - possibly even too strong, lol? - beat and rhythm), plus a bulerias contratiempos to practice contra to.
And ... I'm feng shui-ing my room, hee hee. It's fun. Actually, I might tidy my room a little bit more too, as the last major clean up is losing some of it's sharpness. Mmmm, tidy room, the thought makes me very happy. Actually, I need to organise to get rid of a few things that no longer work. So, that's me ... off to clean up my room!

( So ... procrastinating ... )
I'm still cleaning, and yeah, soon I'll have to shower and get ready for tonight. Hmmmm. I'd better get on with it, then.

So, Valentine's day was the best I've had in a long time. It didn't start as smoothly as either of us had planned. First off, I wasn't expecting him for a while, so I wasn't dressed and hadn't done my hair or anything and he came in while I was half dressed and still towelling my hair! I meeped and threw the towel over my head in an attempt to hide as I complained "I wasn't expecting you yet! I'm still not ready!". He laughed at me and said he loved me either way. We played and snuggled and chatted a bit, exchanged gifts, and then he went home for a bit. When he came back was probably the worst bit of the evening - I vomited during dinner (hurrah - I freaking hate this) and he'd eaten too much (because he'd missed lunch), so I was too icky in the tummy and he was too full for any kind of mischief, lol. Disappointing after the playtime we had this afternoon when he first dropped by with the flowers (he went home for dinner and a shower between then and when we went out again, because he'd been working all day and had come straight to my place*). Ah well, there's always another night *giggles* like tomorrow :x
It was great, in that he brought me a red rose, and a bouquet of white oriental lilies, and liked what I gave him (although he was cheeky and pretended not to know any of the artists on the mix cd I'd made him). We went for a drive to the beach and walked along the jetty in the moonlight. We lingered on the jetty leaning into each other and staring into the clear and still water. It was warm, warm enough for a light top and short skirt and there was just the faintest movement in the air to keep you cool but not cold. We traded compliments, such as he is "lucky" to have me, because I care, and want to help when he has a problem, I listen, and I love him. It was sweet. There were so many couples out with the same idea ... so then we went onto the beach itself (there were still couples, just fewer of them) and waded in the water a bit, and then went back to the car and drove home again because we were both so tired in the end.
He's coming over again tomorrow night to use my computer to fill out an online job application, and suggested that there would be opportunity for playtime then. I can't wait! But for now? I'm content and sleepy, and off to bed to dream about how playtime might pan out, hee hee.
I hope that everyone's Valentine's has been or will be just as delightful as I found mine to be, despite the not-so-smooth start :)
*He'd been expecting to finish work at 12.30pm, having started at 7.30am delivering flowers for the florist his sister works for. He'd planned to surprise me and take me to lunch or something, but it didn't pan out as they asked him to stay until 5pm because they were quite desperate for delivery staff. He agreed because the pay was worth it, but he did say he'd wanted to take me to lunch even as he'd said yes.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I sent him a message in the morning saying "be my Valentine, today?" and when he saw me in the evening he said "Snuggle says yes! If you will be mine." SQUEE!
