Stepped in cat poo this morning, trying to empty the litter trays. Yes, that means I tracked it through the spare bedroom. Fortunately no further, because then I entered the other bathroom - which is when I realised that my foot was sticking to the tiles a bit. A retracing of my steps revealed what had occurred. I have scrubbed and disinfected both the carpet and my foot. Ugh. One of the cats is a little hasty in pooping - they are getting out of the litter tray before they finish, lol.

Not a great start to the morning, lol.

I swore an affidavit today.

An Affidavit of Service.

Which means, I went and served a subpoena on someone, and then came back and swore an affidavit to serving said subpoena on said person.

It was funny, I was escorted by security to the relevant level of the building. I then said to the receiver "I have to ask you this." She nodded. "Are you employed here?" She replied in the affirmative. So I told her I had a subpoena to be left at this address. And then I left.

It was sort of reminiscent of a highschool class room roleplay ... where we were both feeling sort of silly for having to observe the forms and official dialogue.
