fangirls, cat haiku: new rule, pirates do it for the booty, *headwall*, iKitty, lonely, cute and fluffy, refreshed, iSari, jade calligraphy, yayness, drunken snooch, indigo, iPirate, Twilight - E&B - Intoxicated, you make stitch cry, pumpkin kitty, cat haiku: inside/outside, o.0, ...purrrrfect, medusa snake-hair, logic has left, guess how much, jd hiding, hollywood sari, indigo leaping, words are all i have
I have new eyes! I can seeeeeeeeee :X

Monday saw (more visual speak! ha!) me going to the optometrist to get tested. I came out with new contacts (30 day, sleep-in), new frames ordered, and new sunglasses. The end result is that apart from adjusting to the new strength and type of contacts, I'm going well. I can see!

Also, I've never spent more than $20 on sunglasses before, and I now have $340 Versace sunglasses. I had better not drop these or sit on them :X I'll take a picture sometime - they're kinda cute.

I guess this is the beginning of my descent into hell as a spoiled and privileged rich, private school girl 0.0 lol

No, they're not lol, but thank you! Those paticular sunglasses belong to a girlfriend. I'm sure someone will snap me in my new sunglasses though, so I'll post a picture when that happens :D

I have been thinking of investing in prescription sunglasses. I hardly ever wear sunglasses as it is, because I rarely wear contacts, and I can't manage to go without vision-correction! Sunglasses over regular glasses is a no-can-do, so I suffer!

I hope we get to see your new ones! :)

Yeah, I got clip ons for my last pair of frames ... but when I started wearing contacts, I just had cheap sunglasses ... and now I decided to splash out a bit (ok, maybe a lot).

I'm glad to hear you have new contacts. It got a little disconcerting when we met up and you kept walking into doors. I never had the heart to tell you that dog you patted and called 'wuffy' was actually an old man kneeling over to pick up his walking stick.

$340 sunglasses? O.O I'd be too scared to wear em'

I got glasses too now, just for reading (and i should be using them now :X *goes to get them*) they're kinda cute but i'm glad i don't have to wear them all the time.

Yeah, me too. I don't mind contacts all the time though. Glasses are just a little bit unwieldy on occasions :P
